Choice: Safari Float or Rio Balsa Rafting
Overview
Today you will have your choice of one of the following tour options: A) Safari Float on the Rio Penas Blancas. This is a great tour for those that want the fun of whitewater rafting without the rapids. The safari float is done on a rafting boat, but at a much slower pace on a gently rolling river which creates a fun way to observe wildlife along the river edge. Please inform us if you weigh over 200 pounds as restrictions may apply. This half day, 4 hour tour includes transportation, equipment, guide, and snack. B) Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment.Location and Availability
