The expansive resort is in the tropical dry forest coastal area of Guanacaste, which is the driest region in Costa Rica. The property is 45 south of Liberia International Airport and 15 minutes from the regional airport in Tamarindo. As it is a large property and the units are not directly on the beach, Reserva Conchal provides a continuous shuttle service.
The Reserva Conchal Golf Club is one of the best courses in Costa Rica. The course is a par 71, 18 hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones III. The Club offers equipment rental, a Golf Academy, and a Pro Shop. Keep in mind that golfing and anything related is not included in your stay.
The Beach Club offers several restaurants. Most of which require reservations so be sure to make arrangements in advance. Restaurant themes include French Cuisine at the Cauri Lobby Bar & Bistro, International Cuisine at the Mitra Restaurant, and Asian Fusion at the Bamboo Restaurant. Enjoy Italian Cuisine at the Faisanella Restaurant and Spirula Pizza Bar, Costa Rican Cuisine at the La Sabana Restaurant, Mediterranean at the Manglar Restaurant, and Latin American at the Las Candelas Restaurant.
The Beach Club also offers a fitness center and a world-class spa. The fitness center includes a state of the art gym with weight training and cardiovascular equipment. Certified trainers are available by appointment and at an additional charge. Pilates, aerobics, and yoga classes are offered weekly. The spa is a 30,000 sq ft oasis of peace and tranquility. The menu contains a delightful variety of treatments, from facials to targeted massage. The spa also offers sauna, steam room, and whirlpools.
Reserva Conchal offers one, two, three, and four bedroom colonial style private residences and four and five bedroom villas. Some of the one bedroom units are studio style. All residences and villas are equipped with air-conditioning, living room, furnished kitchens, private balcony or terrace, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, and a washer and dryer.
