While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa, the room you will enjoy is a Junior Suite. Junior Suites feature air-conditioning, cable TV, a ceiling fan, a minibar stocked with complimentary beverages for two people, a telephone, an in-room safe, a hair dryer, and a terrace area with a view of Arenal Volcano. Hold on tight! Today you will go on a thrilling whitewater rafting tour on the Rio Sarapiqui. This is one of the top rivers in Costa Rica with challenging class III and IV rapids. The day starts with a 1 hr scenic drive through the Eastern portion of central Costa Rica through the beautiful pineapple, papaya and yucca fields with Volcano Arenal set in the backdrop. Once we reach our destination, our trained guides will review the rules and safety guidelines for the river to familiarize yourself with your job as paddlers. The Rio Sarapiqui is better suited for experienced rafters or those in good physical condition and looking for a challenge. This fun filled full day of adventure includes transportation, guides, safety kayaker, lunch and equipment.

Today you will go on the Pure Trek canyoning and rappelling tour down rainforest waterfalls! The day starts off with a 30 minute 4x4 truck ride through back roads until you reach the ranch house. Once there, you will receive training, gear and then you will hike in to the first waterfall. This awesome course includes 5 rappels that vary in height from 18 - 50 meters. Four of the rappels are down waterfalls and the other is down a canyon wall. Between each rappel you will scramble through the canyon and jungle. No experience is necessary for this amazing adventure, bilingual guides will be with you the entire time. Please inform us if you weigh over 200 pounds as restrictions may apply. This half day adventure includes transportation, back road 4x4 truck ride, guides, meal and equipment.

The Monteverde ATV off-road adventure tour is simply awesome! High up in the rain forest, this scenic tour will speed through back roads, rivers, forest trails and farms riding on four wheelers. Beginning on private property you’ll receive safety instructions and do a short course to determine your ability to control the ATV. Please book as a beginner if you have not had previous ATV experience. For safety concerns people with limited ability might be instructed to ride behind the drivers. Drivers must be licensed adults. If an extra driver is needed to accommodate a passenger an additional charge of $35 may be required to pay for an extra guide. Children over 8 years old and up may participate as passengers with a signed waiver from a parent. Prepare to get dirty! You’ll explore the limits of your ATV tearing across a field, slogging through giant waterholes and plowing up and down steep, muddy, uneven terrain. Afterwards your guide will take you on back trails into the rain forest where you will drive through rivers, slide in the mud and maybe catch a seasonal waterfall before skirting the small town of Santa Elena and its stunning vistas. On your return you’ll have the chance to spin 360s in a giant mud hole at the end of the tour for your grand finale. Be sure to bring dry clothes to change into and wear closed toed shoes including covered heels. Maximum weight per person is 240 pounds to participate. This thrilling half day adventure includes transportation from Monteverde and Santa Elena, bilingual guide, trail entrances, and ATV.
