The Coastal Kayaking and Snorkel Adventure at Tamarindo is a great way to observe tropical islands, marine life and the beautiful Pacific coastline. After paddling along taking in the scenery you and your guide will land on the white sand beach of Capitan Island. After a short informative tour, you’ll put on your snorkeling gear to go on a guided snorkeling expedition in shallow water above rock and coral formations. Over 70 species of colorful tropical fish as well as eels, rays and starfish live in this area. On your way back to shore you might see dolphins, a swimming sea turtle or if you are very lucky, one of the majestic whales who stop by this area twice a year. This fun filled half day excursion includes transportation (by ATV if local), bilingual guide, snorkeling and safety gear and bottled water.
