Arenal Volcano and Baldi Hot Springs

Tour Description:

The Arenal Volcano Natural History and Hot Springs tour is a great way to learn about the volcano and observe wildlife before relaxing in thermal hot springs! After a drive to the Northern Plains, the tour starts in the afternoon at Arenal, where you will go on an easy hike through the rainforest at the base of the volcano. With a little luck, your bilingual naturalist guide will point out various species of wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, parrots and others. The trail ends at a mirador with excellent views to the volcano.

Following the hike you will be brought to Baldi Hot Springs to relax and bathe in your choice of 22 hot spring pools at various temperatures which are surrounded by tropical gardens. This fun filled half day, evening excursion includes guide, transportation, lunch, dinner, entrance to the private reserve and hot springs.

What To Bring:

Insect repellent, binoculars, camera, sturdy shoes, bathing suit, clothes to change into, towel, cash if using the locker at Baldi, and rain gear.
