Your rappelling adventure begins with transportation from your hotel to Ocean Ranch Park. Here you will meet your professional, bilingual guides who will fit you with a harness and helmet while going over all the safety procedures.

You’ll hike deep into the lush tropical forest until you reach the base of this majestic waterfall. Surrounded by the sound of rushing water, your group will continue another 10 minutes up the mountain to a platform at the top of the falls. Once on the platform, your guide will clip you securely onto the rappelling ropes.

One by one you will lean back and drop down the face of the cascading waterfall with the assistance of your expert guides. You’ll pass through a series of natural pools along the way until you reach the bottom. When your party gathers at the base of El Encanto, you can share this exhilarating experience while enjoying the provided snacks.

The tour includes admission, bilingual professional guides, all safety equipment, snacks, and transportation from Jaco or Herradura. One way transport can take from 20 minutes to 1 hour depending on where you are staying. The entire tour can take from 2.5 to 3.5 hours including the round-trip transportation.

Please wear completely enclosed, non-skid shoes, and bring a dry change of clothing, insect repellent, rain gear, plus your camera. This is a moderate to difficult activity that requires some hiking up a mountain.
