Overview

This exciting Canopy Zipline tour is located on a beautiful 800-acre private reserve that encompasses both the primary and secondary tropical rainforests. It’s the ideal tour for adventurous travelers or first-time zip liners ready to participate in a thrilling experience and get up-close and personal to the lush nature of Costa Rica.

As one of the most varied zip-line courses in Costa Rica, you’ll experience 9 zipline cables, 2 repelling stations, 2 suspension bridges and an exhilarating Tarzan swing. You’ll have a group of guides leading your trip: one at the start of each cable to harness you securely on the line, and another at the end of the cable to give you a high-five! Many travelers have said that this adventure has been a highlight of their vacation.

Upon arrival to the head office, your group will get a ride up to the starting point of the tour which overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Feel free to bring along a camera to take some shots of this beautiful view. This is also where you will meet your friendly, bilingual guides. They will fit you with high-quality gear, provide you with a safety talk and their humor will most likely get you pumped up to embrace the adventure that lies ahead.

As you step out into the jungle your experienced guides will tell you interesting facts about the area. They will point out birds and exotic creatures as your zip line journey unfolds. Keep your eyes open for a variety of wildlife such as monkeys, sloths, iguanas, poison dart frogs, and birds including scarlet macaws and toucans.

At the end of this adrenaline pumping journey, it will be time to relax and refuel. Your group will be provided with tropical fruit and beverages and a chance to explore this beautiful nature reserve by foot- seeing the jungle from a different perspective and getting a closer look at the plants and wildlife.

The Canopy Zipline is a very safe and eco-friendly tour. The entire course is built with much care in order to not disrupt the natural surroundings and allow visitors to have a real jungle experience. During the construction of the project the designer built the entire course around the existing forest, being careful not to cut down any trees or even hammer nails into tree trunks.

This is a tour for people of most ages who are in good physical condition. There is a maximum weight limit of 230 pounds. This half-day tour includes a snack and bilingual guide. Transportation is not included.
