Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to Rincon de la Vieja which is one of Costa Rica?s active volcanoes and an adventure capital. During your visit to Rincon de la Vieja, you will stay at Hacienda Guachipelin. Hacienda Guachipelin is an amazing eco-lodge and adventure ranch with hot spring fed pools located in the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano and national park region. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, spa, restaurant, bar, and internet. While at Hacienda Guachipelin you will enjoy a Standard Room. Day 2 The Canopy Zipline is a MUST DO for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica! This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 12 zips as you soar through the canyon from platform to platform via wheel and harness for a bird’s eye view of the tropical dry forest. To top it all off there is also two climbing walls, a hanging bridge, rappel, and a Tarzan swing! This fun filled half day adventure includes guides. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 3 Whitewater tubing down the Rio Negro. The Rio Negro is a class I and II river surrounded by a beautiful canyon. The tour starts off with a horseback or bus ride to the site. After a brief safety course, you will start off near a waterfall and then chute your way through the canyon with a team of guides. This is a great adventure and no experience is necessary. Please inform us if you weigh over 200 pounds as restrictions may apply. This 2.5 hour tour includes guide. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to Mal Pais which is home to some of the most beautiful palm studded beaches in Costa Rica which are excellent for surfing. During your visit to Mal Pais, you will stay at Beija Flor Resort. Beija Flor Resort is a boutique style hotel located within walking distance to the beaches of Mal Pais. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, spa, yoga deck, tropical gardens, and internet. While at Beija Flor Resort you will enjoy a Deluxe Room. Deluxe Rooms feature air-conditioning, bathroom with open-sky shower, in-room safe, mosquito net, and a porch. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 5 Cabo Blanco National Park guided tour. Cabo Blanco was the first national park created in Costa Rica. The park is home to 2 species of monkeys, sloths and many other endangered species. With a little luck and cooperation from Mother Nature, your bilingual naturalist guide will point out wildlife such as these and others. Park is closed on Mondays. This half day 3.5 hour tour includes transportation, bilingual guide, and drinks. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 6 Surf day at Mal Pais. Surfs up and stress is down. Today you will have a day on your own to hang 10 and walk on water. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 7 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! | ||||||||||||||||||
