Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort with thermal hot springs surrounded by tropical gardens located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include thermal hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, yoga platform and conference room. While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Day 2 Costa Rica is well known for awesome trails and roads that could be compared to tracks, so why not go with the flow on a high speed four wheel adventure! This thrilling offroad adventure will take you through the back roads and trails of the forest, farmlands and whatever else is in the way. This fun filled adventure includes transportation, guide, trail entrances, and lunch. |
Day 2 Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment. |
Day 3 Transportation will be provided to the Papagayo-Hermosa area which is home to beautiful palm studded beaches. During your visit to the Papagayo-Hermosa area, you will stay at Hilton Papagayo Resort and Spa. The Hilton Papagayo Resort and Spa is an eco-friendly all-inclusive tropical retreat located in a secluded, private bay on the Pacific Ocean at the Gulf of Papagayo. The resort is well known for excellent customer service. Resort amenities include swimming pool, restaurants, bars, spa, conference room, tennis courts, trails, volleyball courts, and internet. While at Hilton Papagayo Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Tropical Garden Bungalow Room. Tropical Garden Bungalows feature air-conditioning, dark, teak-wood furniture, including comfortable chairs, activity table, flat-screen LCD TV, telephone, clock radio with MP3 connection, in-room safe, mini refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, and a private balcony with tropical views. Day 4 The Canopy Zipline is a MUST DO for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica! This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 3 hanging bridges and 11 zips up to 400 meters as you soar through the air from platform to platform via wheel and harness for a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. After your adventure you will enjoy entrance to the Monkey Park including birds and butterfly garden, monkey cage and serpentarium. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation, entrance and guide. |
Day 5 The warm waters surrounding Costa Rica are teaming with tropical fish! Create memories for a lifetime as you and your guide swim above rock or coral formations along the Guanacaste coastline and observe the wondrous marine life below. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation, bilingual certified guide, and equipment. |
Day 6 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
