Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to Cahuita which is home to some of the most beautiful white sand, palm studded beaches in Costa Rica and an abundance of wildlife in the national park. During your visit to Cahuita, you will stay at Ciudad Perdida Eco Lodge. Ciudad Perdida Eco Lodge is a Caribbean bungalow style eco-lodge located at Cahuita. Amenities include AC, internet, cable TV, refrigerator, safety deposit box, and kitchenette. While at Ciudad Perdida Eco Lodge you will enjoy a Standard Room. Day 2 Cahuita National Park and Snorkeling combo is an great way to enjoy both wildlife in the jungle and marine life in ocean. In the morning a bilingual guide will lead you through the rain forest where you will see many species of wildlife, flora and fauna, such as monkeys, sloths, iguanas, Morphos butterflies, birds, snakes and much. The afternoon continues with an awesome snorkeling adventure. Swim above rock and coral formations along the Cahuita coastline and observe the wondrous marine life below. Day 3 Beach day at Playa Cahuita. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Caribbean coast. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort with thermal hot springs surrounded by tropical gardens located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include thermal hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, yoga platform and conference room. While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Day 5 The Hanging Bridges offer an amazing glimpse into the canopy of the rainforest! The hike includes terrestrial trails and bridges through the tree tops allowing you to view the forest from all perspectives. Day 6 Kayaking on Lake Arenal. This is an easy level kayaking tour on Lake Arenal in front of the volcano in a jungle setting. This half day, 4 hour tour includes transportation, equipment, guide, and snack. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 7 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! | ||||||||||||||||||
