Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to Arenal Volcano, you will stay at The Springs Resort. The Springs Resort and Spa is a 5 star resort located near La Fortuna in the Arenal Volcano region. Hotel amenities include thermal hot spring swimming pools, internet access, restaurant, bar, tropical gardens, spa, and animal rescue center. While at The Springs Resort you will enjoy a Vista Guest Room. Day 2 Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class III and IV rapids on the Rio Toro. This is a great river for experienced rafters or those in good physical condition. This fun filled full day adventure includes transportation, guides, safety kayaker, lunch and equipment. |
Day 3 Canyoning and rappelling down rainforest waterfalls is the coolest new sport and an incredible way to make your way through the jungle! After a brief safety course, your professional guides will hook you up so you can descend down rainforest waterfalls and then scramble through the natural river obstacles below. Words simply cannot describe this amazing experience! No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. This thrilling adventure includes transportation, back road 4x4 ride, guides, lunch and equipment. |
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to the Central Pacific which is home to some of the most beautiful palm studded beaches in Costa Rica and an abundance of wildlife. During your visit to the Central Pacific, you will stay at Villa Caletas. Villa Caletas is a luxurious boutique style resort located in the rainforest covered hillside above the Pacific Ocean in Playa Jaco. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, private beach, spa, and internet. While at Villa Caletas you will enjoy a Standard Room. Standard Rooms feature air-conditioning, hair dryer, ceiling fan, telephone, cable TV, in-room safe, mini bar, coffee maker, with garden or courtyard view. |
Day 5 The Coastal Kayaking and Snorkel Adventure is a great way to observe tropical islands, marine life and the beautiful Pacific coastline! After paddling along and taking in the scenery we will stop to snorkel above rock or coral formations and observe the wondrous marine life below. Species that are frequently spotted on this trip include whales, dolphins, sea turtles and various tropical fish species making this a highlight for many! This fun filled half day excursion includes transportation, bilingual guide, and meal. |
Day 6 Beach day at Central Pacific. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. |
Day 7 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
