Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort with thermal hot springs surrounded by tropical gardens located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include thermal hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, yoga platform and conference room. While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Junior Suites feature air-conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, mini bar stocked with complimentary beverages for two people, telephone, in-room safe, hair dryer, and a terrace area with a view of Arenal Volcano. |
Day 2 Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment. |
Day 3 Canyoning and rappelling down rainforest waterfalls is the coolest new sport and an incredible way to make your way through the jungle! After a brief safety course, your professional guides will hook you up so you can descend down rainforest waterfalls and then scramble through the natural river obstacles below. Words simply cannot describe this amazing experience! No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. This thrilling adventure includes transportation, back road 4x4 ride, guides, lunch and equipment. |
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to Tamarindo which is home to beautiful palm studded beaches which are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and night life. During your visit to Tamarindo, you will stay at Barcelo Langosta Beach Resort. Barcelo Langosta Beach Resort is a newly remodeled 4 star all-inclusive resort located on Playa Langosta de Tamarindo. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, spa, casino, fitness center, beauty salon, tennis courts, resort activities, conference room, and internet. While at Barcelo Langosta Beach Resort you will enjoy a Superior Room. Superior Rooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fan, iron and ironing board, bathroom, shower, magnifying mirror, hair dryer, telephone, TV, mini bar, in-room safe, coffee-maker, and a terrace or balcony with view of the Las Baulas Estuary. Day 5 ONLY AVAILABLE WED,FRI,SUN. Buena Vista Adventure Combo. This is a day of adventure in the shadow of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. The tour includes canopy zip-line, horseback riding, water slide, hot volcanic mud bath, and hot springs. Please inform us if you weigh over 200 pounds as restrictions may apply. This 8 hour tour includes transportation, guide, lunch, and drinks. |
Day 6 Surf Lesson. A professional instructor will show you the ropes as you learn how to surf in the warm tropical waters of Tamarindo. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation, guide, and board. |
Day 7 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
