Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Hotel Royal Corin. The 5 Star Hotel Royal Corin and Loto Spa is located in the shadow of Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna. Day 2 Saddle up for a horseback ride like a true Costa Rican! Though slowly fading, nearly all Costa Ricans from rural areas first learned how to drive on horseback. This adventure will help keep the traditional spirit alive as you ride to La Fortuna Waterfalls. Once you reach the falls you will be able to either observe the falls from the observation platform or take the hike down top the basin. This fun filled half day expedition includes transportation, guide, and entrance to the waterfall. |
Day 3 Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment. |
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to Puerto Viejo which is home to some of the most beautiful white sand, palm studded beaches in Costa Rica. During your visit to Puerto Viejo, you will stay at Le Cameleon Boutique Hotel. Hotel Le Cameleon is a beautiful luxury boutique hotel located at Puerto Viejo, Limon. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, spa, beach club, and internet. While at Hotel Le Cameleon you will enjoy a Superior Room. Day 5 Cahuita National Park and Snorkeling combo is an great way to enjoy both wildlife in the jungle and marine life in ocean. In the morning a bilingual guide will lead you through the rain forest where you will see many species of wildlife, flora and fauna, such as monkeys, sloths, iguanas, Morphos butterflies, birds, snakes and much. The afternoon continues with an awesome snorkeling adventure. Swim above rock and coral formations along the Cahuita coastline and observe the wondrous marine life below. This fun filled half day adventure which includes transportation, bilingual certified guide, equipment and lunch. |
Day 6 Beach day at Puerto Viejo. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Caribbean coast. |
Day 7 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
