Day 1![]() Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Nayara Hotel and Gardens. The 4 star Arenal Nayara Hotel and Gardens is located in front of Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, and tropical gardens. While at Arenal Nayara Hotel and Gardens you will enjoy a Casita Deluxe Room. Deluxe Casitas feature air conditioning, cable TV, DVD, CD player, internet access, in-room safe with small-laptop capacity, backyard outside shower, mini refrigerator, coffee maker, and a front balcony with Jacuzzi overlooking the volcano. |
Day 2![]() Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment. |
Day 3![]() Transportation will be provided to Monteverde which is located in the cloud forests of the continental divide. During your visit to Monteverde, you will stay at El Establo Mountain Hotel. El Establo Mountain Hotel is the largest eco-resort and spa in the Monteverde region and located near the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Hotel amenities include 2 indoor heated swimming pools, restaurant, bar, gym, conference center, spa, tennis courts, basketball court, soccer field, and internet. While at El Establo Mountain Hotel you will enjoy a Deluxe Room. Day 3![]() The Canopy Zipline is a MUST DO for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica. This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 16 zips up to 600 meters and 80 meters high as you soar through the air from platform to platform via wheel and harness for a birds eye view of the rainforest. To top it all off, you can also do a rappel and Tarzan swing. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation and guides. |
Day 5![]() Transportation will be provided to the Manuel Antonio area which is home to some of the most beautiful white sand, palm studded beaches in Costa Rica and an abundance of wildlife in the national park. During your visit to Manuel Antonio, you will stay at Pacific Souss Hotel. The Pacific Souss Hotel is a luxury boutique style hotel located along the hillside resort area within moderate walking distance to the beautiful Biesanz Beach. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, internet, and tropical gardens. While at Pacific Souss Hotel you will enjoy a Superior Room. Day 6![]() Canyoning and rappelling down rainforest waterfalls is the coolest new sport and an incredible way to make your way through the jungle! After a brief safety course, your professional guides will hook you up so you can descend down rainforest waterfalls and then scramble through the natural river obstacles below. Words simply cannot describe this amazing experience! No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. This thrilling adventure includes transportation, guide, and meal. |
Day 7![]() Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
