Day 1![]() Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort with thermal hot springs surrounded by tropical gardens located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include thermal hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, yoga platform and conference room. While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Junior Suites feature air-conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, mini bar stocked with complimentary beverages for two people, telephone, in-room safe, hair dryer, and a terrace area with a view of Arenal Volcano. |
Day 2![]() The Canopy Zipline is a MUST DO for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica! This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 15 zips as you soar from platform to platform at the base of Arenal Volcano and then top it off with a Tarzan Swing! This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation and guide. |
Day 3![]() Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment. |
Day 4![]() Transportation will be provided to the Manuel Antonio area which is home to some of the most beautiful white sand, palm studded beaches in Costa Rica and an abundance of wildlife in the national park. During your visit to Manuel Antonio, you will stay at The Falls Resort. The Falls Resort is a boutique style Manuel Antonio hotel surrounded by tropical gardens located along the hillside resort area. The hotel is well known for excellent customer service and the wildlife that passes through. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, internet, and tropical gardens. While at The Falls Resort you will enjoy a Standard Room. Standard Rooms feature air conditioning, cable TV with DVD, mini bar, and ceiling fan, and a furnished patio with garden view. |
Day 5![]() The Coastal Kayaking and Snorkel Adventure is a great way to observe tropical islands, marine life and the beautiful Pacific coastline! After paddling along and taking in the scenery we will stop to snorkel above rock or coral formations and observe the wondrous marine life below. Species that are frequently spotted on this trip include whales, dolphins, sea turtles and various tropical fish species making this a highlight for many! This fun filled half day excursion includes transportation, bilingual guide, and meal. |
Day 6![]() Canyoning and rappelling down rainforest waterfalls. This the coolest new sport and an incredible way to make your way through the jungle. After a brief safety course, your professional guides will hook you up so you can descend down rainforest waterfalls and then scramble through the natural river obstacles below. Words simply cannot describe this amazing experience. No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. This thrilling adventure includes transportation, guide, meal, and snack. |
Day 7![]() Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
