Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Hotel La Fortuna. Hotel La Fortuna is an affordable hotel conveniently located near the shops, restaurants and night life of downtown La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include internet access, restaurant and bar. While at Hotel La Fortuna you will enjoy a Volcano View Room. Standard Rooms with Volcano View feature air conditioning, cable TV, hair dryer, and of course a volcano view. |
Day 2 The Canopy Zipline is a MUST DO for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica! This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 15 zips as you soar from platform to platform at the base of Arenal Volcano and then top it off with a Tarzan Swing! This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation and guide. |
Day 3 Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment. |
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to the Jaco-Hermosa area which is a mini surf city with palm studded beaches, shops, restaurants and plenty of night life. During your visit to Jaco, you will stay at Surf Inn. Surf Inn is a beach front, apartment-condo style hotel located in the heart of Playa Hermosa de Jaco. While at Surf Inn you will enjoy a 1st Floor 1 Bedroom Studio. 1st Floor 1 Bedroom Studio features air-conditioning,a sitting area, kitchenette, cable TV, wireless internet, surf-board closet and ocean view. |
Day 5 Surfs up dude! So you have always wanted to surf right? Well today is your chance to hang 10 and walk on water. A board will be provided and your professional instructor will show you the ropes as you learn how to surf in the warm tropical waters of Jaco. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation, guide, and board. |
Day 6 Beach day at Playa Hermosa de Jaco. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. |
Day 7 Another Playa Hermosa de Jaco beach day. You can sit back, relax, and perfect that tropical tan, or contact us for choices of an added activity. |
Day 8 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
