Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Hotel Los Lagos. Hotel Los Lagos is located directly in front of Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, internet access and tropical gardens. While at Hotel Los Lagos you will enjoy a Standard Room. Standard Rooms feature air conditioning cable TV, mini-fridge and in-room safe. |
Day 2 The Hanging Bridges offer an amazing glimpse into the canopy of the rainforest! The hike includes terrestrial trails and bridges through the tree tops allowing you to view the forest from all perspectives. This fun filled half day tour includes guides, transportation, and entrance to the private reserve. |
Day 3 The Cano Negro Riverboat Safari is an amazing experience and opportunity to see numerous species of wildlife. The refuge located one hour away from La Fortuna, is a home to one of the largest populations of caimans, which can be observed at nearly every turn! It’s not only reptiles though as the area is also home to both spider monkeys and congo monkeys which can be heard howling from miles away. Birdwatchers will delight as hundreds of species either live here or migrate through including toucans, roseate spoonbills and trogons. This fun filled safari includes transportation, bilingual naturalist guide, and lunch. |
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to Samara which is home to some of the most beautiful palm studded beaches in Costa Rica. During your visit to Samara, you will stay at Villas Playa Samara. Villas Playa Samara is a beach front villa resort known for its local Costa Rican style located a little south of the Samara town center. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, massages service, and internet. Please note that in true tropical style, none of the room styles offer television. While at Villas Playa Samara you will enjoy a Garden View One Bedroom Villa. Garden View One Bedroom Villas feature air conditioning, master bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table, and garden view. While not a traditional all inclusive resort, we have included the all inclusive plan during your stay. Day 5 Beach day at Playa Samara to explore on your own. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. Free days are for descriptive purposes only and do not include any services. |
Day 6 The Coastal Kayaking and Snorkel Adventure is a great way to observe tropical islands, marine life and the beautiful Pacific coastline! After paddling out to Isla Chora we will stop to snorkel above rock or coral formations and observe the wondrous marine life below. Species that are frequently spotted on this trip include dolphins, sea turtles and various tropical fish species making this a highlight for many! This fun filled half day excursion includes transportation, bilingual guide, and fruits. |

Day 8 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
