Day 1![]() Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to Puerto Viejo which is home to some of the most beautiful white sand, palm studded beaches in Costa Rica. During your visit to Puerto Viejo, you will stay at Azania Bungalows. Azania Bungalows is a Caribbean bungalow style hotel located in front of Playa Cocles in Puerto Viejo. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, and internet. While at Azania Bungalows you will enjoy a Bungalow Room. Bungalows feature naturally-ventilation along with traditional materials, exotic woods and thatched-palm roofs, bamboo furniture, ceiling fans, mini bar, in-room safe, sauna-style bathroom, large windows with mosquito nets, and a private deck with hammock. |
Day 2![]() Cahuita National Park and Snorkeling combo is an great way to enjoy both wildlife in the jungle and marine life in ocean. In the morning a bilingual guide will lead you through the rain forest where you will see many species of wildlife, flora and fauna, such as monkeys, sloths, iguanas, Morphos butterflies, birds, snakes and much. The afternoon continues with an awesome snorkeling adventure. Swim above rock and coral formations along the Cahuita coastline and observe the wondrous marine life below. This fun filled half day adventure which includes transportation, bilingual certified guide, equipment and lunch. |
Day 3![]() Beach day at Puerto Viejo. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Caribbean coast. |
Day 4![]() Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort with thermal hot springs surrounded by tropical gardens located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include thermal hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, yoga platform and conference room. While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Junior Suites feature air-conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, mini bar stocked with complimentary beverages for two people, telephone, in-room safe, hair dryer, and a terrace area with a view of Arenal Volcano. |
Day 5![]() Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment. |
Day 6![]() Transportation will be provided to the Jaco-Hermosa area which is a mini surf city with palm studded beaches, shops, restaurants and plenty of night life. During your visit to Jaco, you will stay at Hotel Las Canciones del Mar. Hotel Las Canciones del Mar is a boutique style beach front hotel located at Playa Jaco. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, massage service, and internet. While at Hotel Las Canciones del Mar you will enjoy a One Bedroom Suite. One Bedroom Suites feature air-conditioning, cable TV, telephone, in-room safe, and beach, garden or pool view. |
Day 7![]() Surf day at Playa Hermosa de Jaco. Surfs up and stress is down. Today you will have a day on your own to hang 10 and walk on water. |
Day 8![]() Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
