Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Hotel Royal Corin. The 5 Star Hotel Royal Corin and Loto Spa is located in the shadow of Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include hot spring fed swimming pools, restaurant, bar, event room, internet access, and tropical gardens. While at Hotel Royal Corin you will enjoy a Standard Room - 3 x 2 Special. Day 2 The Hanging Bridges offer an amazing glimpse into the canopy of the rainforest! The hike includes terrestrial trails and bridges through the tree tops allowing you to view the forest from all perspectives. This fun filled half day tour includes guides, transportation, and entrance to the private reserve. |
Day 3 Whitewater rafting on the Rio Balsa. Professional bilingual guides will help navigate you through class II and III rapids on this thrilling adventure. The Rio Balsa is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. Please inform us if you weigh over 200 pounds as restrictions may apply. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch and equipment. |
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to Monteverde which is located in the cloud forests of the continental divide. During your visit to Monteverde, you will stay at Hidden Canopy Treehouses Boutique Hotel. Hidden Canopy Treehouse Boutique Hotel is a luxury bed and breakfast located near the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Amenities include guest lounge and bar area, take one, leave one library books, portable DVD players, movie collection, assorted board games, and cards. While at Hidden Canopy Treehouses Boutique Hotel you will enjoy a Rising Sun Room. The Rising Sun Treehouse Chalet features a private bath with a stone-waterfall shower, a sitting area, mini bar, coffee bar, in-room safe, hairdryer, and hanging-basket chair with forest view. |
Day 5 Canopy Zipline adventure on the Aventuras Canopy course. The Canopy Zipline is a must do for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica. This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 16 zips up to 600 meters and 80 meters high, 1 rappel, and a Tarzan swing. This 4 hour tour includes transportation, and guide. |
Day 6 Transportation will be provided to the Papagayo-Hermosa area which is home to beautiful palm studded beaches. During your visit to the Papagayo-Hermosa area, you will stay at Hotel Playa Hermosa Bosque del Mar. Hotel Playa Hermosa Bosque del Mar is a beach front boutique style hotel located at Playa Hermosa de Guanacaste. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, spa, conference room, and internet. While at Hotel Playa Hermosa Bosque del Mar you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Day 7 Beach day at Playa Hermosa. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. |
Day 8 Another Playa Hermosa beach day. You can sit back, relax, and perfect that tropical tan, or contact us for choices of an added activity. |
Day 9 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
