Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to Monteverde which is located in the cloud forests of the continental divide. During your visit to Monteverde, you will stay at Hidden Canopy Treehouses Boutique Hotel. Hidden Canopy Treehouse Boutique Hotel is a luxury eco-friendly bed and breakfast located near the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Amenities include amazing cloud forest views, guest lounge, pass it along library, portable DVD players, movie collection, assorted board games and cards. While at Hidden Canopy Treehouses Boutique Hotel you will enjoy a Rising Sun Room. The Rising Sun Treehouse Chalet features a private bath with a stone-waterfall shower, a sitting area, mini bar, coffee bar, in-room safe, hairdryer, and hanging-basket chair with forest view. |
Day 2 The Hanging Bridges offer an amazing glimpse into the canopy of the cloud forest! The hike includes 3 kilometers of terrestrial trails and 8 bridges through the tree tops allowing you to view the forest from all perspectives. This fun filled half day tour includes guides, transportation, and entrance to the private reserve. |
Day 2 Hummingbird Garden at the Selvatura facilities. This garden is home to literally hundreds of hummingbirds. This 2 hour tour includes transportation. |
Day 2 Reptile and Frog Exhibit. The Selvatura Frog and Serpent Exhibit is an amazing showcase of live snakes, lizards and frogs. This 2 hour tour includes guide, transportation, and entrance to the exhibit. |
Day 3 The Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve is one of the most unique climates in the world. Birdwatchers will delight in the marvels of the cloud forest, which is located along the Continental Divide! Common sightings include the Resplendent Quetzal, Emerald Toucanette and Bell Bird. It’s not all about the birds though as sloths, wild jungle cats and the occasional monkey roam these forests as well. Speaking of the forest, this habitat is brimming with life on top of life as epiphytes and orchids cover the trees. This fun filled half day safari includes transportation, park entrance, and guide. |
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to the Central Pacific which is home to some of the most beautiful palm studded beaches in Costa Rica and an abundance of wildlife. During your visit to the Central Pacific, you will stay at Los Suenos Resort Condominiums. The Los Suenos Resort Condominiums are luxury condos on the famous resort and marina property which offer a home like feel in a world class resort with golf course. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, casino, golf course, marina, spa, and internet. While at Los Suenos Resort Condominiums you will enjoy a One Bedroom Colina Condo. One Bedroom Colina Condos feature air conditioning, one bath, a gourmet kitchen, full-size washer and dryer, living room, dining room, and a covered terrace with fairway and rain forest views. |
Day 5 Beach day at Central Pacific. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. |
Day 6 Offshore sport fishing on a 30 foot boat. You will be fishing for Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Dorado, Mahi Mahi, Snapper, Roosterfish and Wahoo just to name a few. This half day tour includes transportation, boat, captain, mate, bait, tackle, soft drinks and beer on board. Valid for up to 4 anglers. Does not include 25 dollar fishing license which must be paid in person on arrival. |
Day 7 Another Central Pacific beach day. You can sit back, relax, and perfect that tropical tan, or contact us for choices of an added activity. |
Day 8 Golf at La Iguana Golf Course. Nestled alongside an exotic rainforest with breathtaking ocean views, the 18-hole, par-72 championship La Iguana golf course offers not only a challenging Ted Robinson-designed layout but also a spectacular gallery featuring friendly monkeys and brightly hued macaws. Your knowledgeable golf guides will be happy to point out all the beautiful Costa Rica highlights. But make no mistake, the mesmerizing scenery masks a challenging course - one well worth conquering. |

Day 10 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
