Day 1![]() Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to Tamarindo which is home to beautiful palm studded beaches which are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and night life. During your visit to Tamarindo, you will stay at Tamarindo Diria Resort. Tamarindo Diria Resort is a beach front hotel located on Playa Tamarindo. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, tropical gardens, and internet. While at Tamarindo Diria Resort you will enjoy a Classic Room. Classic Rooms feature air-conditioning, in-room safe, cable TV, mini bar, telephone, and a balcony or terrace with a view. |
Day 2![]() Surf day at Playa Tamarindo. Surfs up and stress is down. Today you will have a day on your own to hang 10 and walk on water. |
Day 3![]() Snorkeling tour. There are many islands off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica that are ideal for snorkeling and diving. On this tour you will accompany divers and snorkel off of tropical islands. This 3 hour tour includes transportation, guide, and snorkeling gear. |
Day 4![]() Beach day at Playa Tamarindo. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. |
Day 5![]() Transportation will be provided to Monteverde which is located in the cloud forests of the continental divide. During your visit to Monteverde, you will stay at Hotel Poco a Poco. Hotel Poco a Poco is a comfortable boutique style hotel located near the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Hotel amenities include restaurant, bar, heated swimming pool, spa, gym, and internet. While at Hotel Poco a Poco you will enjoy a Standard Room. Standard Rooms feature comfortable orthopedic beds, hair dryer, telephone, coffee maker, cable TV with DVD, and in-room safe. |
Day 6![]() Canopy Zipline adventure on the Aventuras Canopy course. The Canopy Zipline is a must do for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica. This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 16 zips up to 600 meters and 80 meters high, 1 rappel, and a Tarzan swing. This 4 hour tour includes transportation, and guide. |
Day 7![]() Offroad ATV adventure on a four wheeler. As the name implies, this is a thrilling offroad adventure on four wheeled ATVs. This adventure will take you through cloud forest and farm trails at high speeds for nearly 20 kilometers. Drivers must be at least 16 years old, or ride double with guide or parent. This 4 hour tour includes transportation, guide, trail entrances. |
Day 8![]() Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include heated hot spring pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, conference room, and tropical gardens. While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Junior Suites feature air-conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, mini bar stocked with complimentary beverages for two people, telephone, in-room safe, hair dryer, and a terrace area with a view of Arenal Volcano. |
Day 9![]() Rio Celeste and Tenorio National Park hike. This is a moderate hike through Tenorio National Park on semi groomed trails that lead to the magnificent Kool Aid blue colored Rio Celeste Waterfalls and Lagoon. This 8 hour tour includes transportation, bilingual naturalist guide, park entrance, breakfast and lunch. |
Day 10![]() In the morning, professional bilingual guides will lead you through a series of 4 rappels down rainforest waterfalls and a jungle canyon. |
Day 11![]() Transportation will be provided to San Jose which is the capital city. During your visit to San Jose, you will stay at Hotel Ramada Plaza Herradura. Ramada Herradura is an airport hotel and resort. It also provides one of the largest conference centers in Costa Rica. Hotel amenities include swimming pools, jacuzzis, restaurants, bar, casino, and tropical gardens and Airport Shuttle. While at Hotel Ramada Plaza Herradura you will enjoy a Superior Room. Day 12![]() Poas Volcano - half day. We will travel through the scenic cloud forest to Poas Volcano. There we will observe the massive main crater with its sulfur fumaroles, then hike to the dramatic Botos Lagoon and learn about the variety of ecosystems in the park. This 5 hour tour includes transportation, bilingual guide, and entrance fee to Poas Volcano National Park. |
Day 13![]() Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to San Jose International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
