Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital. During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort with thermal hot springs surrounded by tropical gardens located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include thermal hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, yoga platform and conference room. While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Day 2 Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 3 Canyoning and rappelling down rainforest waterfalls is the coolest new sport and an incredible way to make your way through the jungle! After a brief safety course, your professional guides will hook you up so you can descend down rainforest waterfalls and then scramble through the natural river obstacles below. Words simply cannot describe this amazing experience! No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. Day 4 Transportation will be provided to Samara which is home to some of the most beautiful palm studded beaches in Costa Rica. During your visit to Samara, you will stay at Hotel Villas Playa Samara. Hotel Villas Playa Samara is a beach front villa resort known for its local Costa Rican style located a little south of the Samara town center. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, massages service, and internet. While at Hotel Villas Playa Samara you will enjoy a Garden View One Bedroom Villa. Garden View One Bedroom Villas feature air conditioning, master bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table, and garden view. Day 5 Stand Up Paddle Boarding on Playa Carrillo. Professional bilingual guides will teach you how to walk on water on a beautiful and calm bay in front of a jungle setting. Stand up paddle boarding is one of the funnest new sports and easy to do within minutes of your lesson. Day 6 Beach day at Playa Samara. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. | ||||||||||||||||||
