Day 1

Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital.

During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort with thermal hot springs surrounded by tropical gardens located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include thermal hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, yoga platform and conference room.

While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Junior Suites feature air-conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, mini bar stocked with complimentary beverages for two people, telephone, in-room safe, hair dryer, and a terrace area with a view of Arenal Volcano.

Day 2

The Arenal Volcano Natural History and Nature tour is a great way to learn about the volcano and observe wildlife. The tour starts in the afternoon at a groomed trail, where you will go on an easy hike through the rainforest at the base of the volcano. With a little luck, your bilingual naturalist guide will point out various species of wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, parrots and others. The trail ends at a mirador with excellent views to the volcano. This fun filled evening excursion includes guide, transportation, and entrance to the private reserve.

Following the hike you will be brought back to Arenal Springs Resort where you will enjoy unlimited use of the thermal hot springs which are surrounded by tropical gardens.

Day 3

Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch and equipment.

Make it a Mambo Combo with Canyoning and Rappelling down Waterfalls for an additional 70 USD. Canyoning and rappelling down rainforest waterfalls is the coolest new sport and an incredible way to make your way through the jungle! After a brief safety course, your professional guides will hook you up so you can descend down rainforest waterfalls and then scramble through the natural river obstacles below. Words simply cannot describe this amazing experience! This added extraordinary adventure includes transportation, back road 4x4 ride, guides, lunch and equipment.

Day 4

Transportation will be provided to Tamarindo which is home to beautiful palm studded beaches which are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and night life.

During your visit to Tamarindo, you will stay at Barcelo Langosta Beach Resort. Barcelo Langosta Beach Resort is a newly remodeled 4 star all-inclusive resort located on Playa Langosta de Tamarindo. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, spa, casino, fitness center, beauty salon, tennis courts, resort activities, conference room, and internet.

While at Barcelo Langosta Beach Resort you will enjoy a Superior Room. Superior Rooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fan, iron and ironing board, bathroom, shower, magnifying mirror, hair dryer, telephone, TV, mini bar, in-room safe, coffee-maker, and a terrace or balcony with view of the Las Baulas Estuary.

Day 5

The Monkey Jungle Canopy Zipline is a thrilling high speed, high flying course which offers 7 zips as you soar through the air from platform to platform via wheel and harness for a birds eye view of the rainforest. Tour concludes with an enormous Tarzan swing. This half day adventure includes transportation and guide.

Day 6

Beach day at Playa Tamarindo. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast.

Day 7

Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight.
