Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to San Jose International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Jaco-Hermosa area which is a mini surf city with palm studded beaches, shops, restaurants and plenty of night life. During your visit to Jaco, you will stay at Hotel Las Canciones del Mar. Hotel Las Canciones del Mar is a boutique style beach front hotel located at Playa Jaco. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, massage service, and internet. While at Hotel Las Canciones del Mar you will enjoy a One Bedroom Suite. Day 2 Surfs up dude! So you have always wanted to surf right? Well today is your chance to hang 10 and walk on water. A board will be provided and your professional instructor will show you the ropes as you learn how to surf in the warm tropical waters of Jaco. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation, guide, and board. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 3 Stand up paddle boarding or SUP is easy to learn and one the hottest new water sports. Within one hour you can become comfortable in the water and on your board. This fun filled half day tour which includes guide, transportation, and equipment. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 4 Surf day at Playa Jaco. Surfs up and stress is down. Today you will have a day on your own to hang 10 and walk on water. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 5 Transportation will be provided to Puerto Viejo which is home to some of the most beautiful white sand, palm studded beaches in Costa Rica. During your visit to Puerto Viejo, you will stay at Hotel Cariblue. Hotel Cariblue is a unique Caribbean bungalow style hotel located in Puerto Viejo. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, tropical gardens, and internet. While at Hotel Cariblue you will enjoy a Standard Room. Standard Bungalows feature palm-thatched roof and a porch with hammock or bamboo chairs. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 6 Canyoning and rappelling down rainforest waterfalls is the coolest new sport and an incredible way to make your way through the jungle! The tour starts off as a hike through the rainforest near the Bri Bri indigenous village. We will then cross a river and hike another 30 minutes until we reach the first small waterfall with pools below it which we will jump in to. After gearing up and a safety lesson, we will rappel the first waterfall. We will then follow the stream until we reach a large 130 foot waterfall. This is where the real fun begins as we rappel down this fall from two separate vantage points and then scramble through the natural river obstacles below. Words simply cannot describe this amazing experience! No previous knowledge or experience is necessary. Day 7 Surf day at Puerto Viejo. Surfs up and stress is down. Today you will have a day on your own to hang 10 and walk on water. | ||||||||||||||||||
Day 8 Transportation will be provided to San Jose which is the capital city. During your visit to San Jose, you will stay at Hotel Ramada Plaza Herradura. Hotel Ramada Herradura is a comfortable, newly remodeled airport hotel and resort. The hotel is well known for great customer service and tropical setting. Hotel amenities include large free form swimming pools with islands, jacuzzis, theme restaurants, spa, beauty center, bar, casino, and tropical gardens.
