Peeling the Peninsula
Day 1 Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to Tamarindo which is home to beautiful palm studded beaches which are within walking distance to shops, restaurants and night life. During your visit to Tamarindo, you will stay at Hotel Arco Iris. Hotel Arco Iris is a unique hotel specializing in personalized service and conveniently located within walking distance to the Tamarindo town center and beach area. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, tropical gardens, and internet. While at Hotel Arco Iris you will enjoy a Bungalow Room. Bungalows feature air-conditioning, ceiling fan, hair dryer, cable TV, wireless-internet access, in-room safe, refrigerator, mini bar, and a private patio. |
Day 2 Surf Lesson. A professional instructor will show you the ropes as you learn how to surf in the warm tropical waters of Tamarindo. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation, guide, and board. |
Day 3 Surf day at Playa Tamarindo. Surfs up and stress is down. Today you will have a day on your own to hang 10 and walk on water. |
Day 4 Transportation will be provided to Samara which is home to some of the most beautiful palm studded beaches in Costa Rica. During your visit to Samara, you will stay at Hotel Villas Playa Samara. Hotel Villas Playa Samara is a beach front villa resort known for its local Costa Rican style located a little south of the Samara town center. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, massages service, and internet. While at Hotel Villas Playa Samara you will enjoy a Garden View One Bedroom Villa. Garden View One Bedroom Villas feature air conditioning, master bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen, breakfast bar, dining table, and garden view. Day 5 Stand Up Paddle Boarding on Playa Carrillo. Professional bilingual guides will teach you how to walk on water on a beautiful and calm bay in front of a jungle setting. Stand up paddle boarding is one of the funnest new sports and easy to do within minutes of your lesson. No experience necessary on this 4 hour adventure which includes transportation, paddling instructions, guide, snack. |
Day 6 Surf day at Playa Samara. Surfs up and stress is down. Today you will have a day on your own to hang 10 and walk on water. |
Day 7 Transportation will be provided to Mal Pais which is home to some of the most beautiful palm studded beaches in Costa Rica which are excellent for surfing. During your visit to Mal Pais, you will stay at Beija Flor Resort. Beija Flor Resort is a boutique style hotel located within walking distance to the beaches of Mal Pais. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, restaurant, bar, spa, yoga deck, tropical gardens, and internet. While at Beija Flor Resort you will enjoy a Deluxe Room. Deluxe Rooms feature air-conditioning, bathroom with open-sky shower, in-room safe, mosquito net, and a porch. |
Day 8 The Canopy Zipline is a MUST DO for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica! This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 9 zips as you soar through the air from platform to platform via wheel and harness for a bird’s eye view of the rainforest. To top it all off you will be able to swim beneath the Montezuma Waterfall along the way! This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation and guide. |
Day 9 Beach day at Mal Pais. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast. |
Day 10 Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight. ¡Pura Vida! |
