Lovely setting, less comfortable bed but ok. We had problems with black substance (sand?) being in our water. We noticed it in the morning and said something but I think I wasn't clear as the problem wasn't addressed. I was very grateful to your staff for intervening for us and ensuring that it was rectified. The second day all was fine although we did have a period with no water in our room. Staff was apologetic but not proactive in talking to us about this (we raised the issue in the morning and then they apologized- would have liked for a note to be slid under our door acknowledging the problem and what they had done to fix the situation.)

This hotel was recommended by a friend, not by PTW staff. In fact, I think PTW staff did try to talk me out of this place. I should have listened. Apparently, during the few years since my friends stayed here, the property had gone downhill. The first room they gave us had a none-working air conditioning and beds you could feel the springs poking up through the worn out mattresses. We switched rooms, which was barely better. We decided to leave (and of course lose the pre-paid two-night stay) and find another property. We ended up at Hotel Cuna del Angel - which I very highly recommend. The accommodated us for two nights with no reservations (thanks to low season). The view was spectacular from the infinity pool, the restaurant was very good, and staff were extremely friendly. There is a steep, difficult, poorly maintained trail down to the ocean, which is not a swimming beach for sure, but that was not important to us.

Lovely hotel with beautiful grounds and pool. Staff initially not as friendly as previous experience but improved during stay and provided early breakfast which was nice

Room was quite mouldy but the staff moved me and it was a little better. Staff were very helpful and kind. Perfect location
