Tranquilo Lodge is a luxury, meal inclusive, adult only eco-lodge, located on Costa Rica’s southwestern coast of the Osa Peninsula in Drake Bay. Tranquilo Lodge is surrounded by the largest, most biologically diverse section of lowland rainforest and mangroves in Central America. Here you will find your unique and lavish accommodation, nestled in lush jungle, overlooking the extraordinary destination of Drake Bay. Immersed in miles of wild untouched rainforest, your vacation begins with exotic wildlife, pristine beaches, crystal clear ocean waters, and a playground of marine life sheltered in a bay well-protected from ocean swells. The lodge provides panoramic views of the Drake Bay coastline and Cano Island, a hot spot for scuba diving and snorkeling.
Corcovado National Park and Cano Island are the main attractions from Drake Bay. You may choose to either tour the nearby San Pedrillo Station of Corcovado or the more remote Sirena Station to observe an abundance of exotic and rare animals. Other popular activities include ATV, canoeing, kayaking, hiking, dolphin and whale watching, horseback riding, snorkeling, scuba diving and sportfishing.

Rooms at the Tranquilo Lodge each have their own unique charms. All rooms are allergyf-free and air-conditioned, have quality bedding, blackout curtains, turndown service, a tablet computer for entertainment, modern amenities, free laundry service, verandas, minibar, room service and offer fiber optic hi-speed WiFi internet. Tranquilo Lodge's upscale villa called, Luna de Miel (“Hidden Jewel") comes with its own plunge pool and double showerhead. An accessible room is situated amongst ground floor rooms on the property. Guests pay while onsite a $25 plus 13% tax per room per day resort fee. Not included in the resort fee are additional charges of beverages from the bar or restaurant, arranged tours and spa services.

NOTES: Drake Bay is not accessible by car. You will have to arrive by boat or plane, which must be reserved in advance and have baggage restrictions. Guests should be in good physical condition.
