It was not a clean hotel. It was quite a step down from all the other hotels that we stayed in.

This was my least favorite place we stayed in, however the location as great. The staff was nice, but there wasn't much to do in this hotel. You were also more limited on what you got for breakfast. The casino theme seemed a little odd and while the room was nice it didn't seem as clean as the others we stayed at. Overall, it was fine though!!

Needs a little updating. Clean but old, expecially the shower. Needs better A/C

the hotel could use some updating it was our least favorite of the trip however we delayed in booking with you and your first choice was booked by then so it was our fault

Best location for animal watching in Manuel - ALL FOOD was excellent, all staff especially restaurant were amazing, rooms DESPERATELY need updating and beds the hardest we've ever slept on

Nice hotel though slightly tired in appearance. Pool was great to lounge in. Only slight downside was that breakfast choice was very rigid ie you could only have one choice off a set menu and couldn't mix and match

The Byblos is a little tired looking, and I had hoped that our cabin would be a little more private, but you know, at the end of the day, it was just great. Staff cheerful and fun, breakfast by the pool was wonderful. So glad the casino was closed.

I saw more monkeys and wildlife at this hotel than I did on my tours. It was very special. Thank You!!

Wish it would have been on the ocean side but friendly staff and sports bar was great for evening. Restaurant staff was also great

Our favorite place- we saw monkeys and a sloth and all sorts of animals near the pool. Staff was friendly and we asked to switch to a bungalow (online reviews said they were nice) and they did switch us, and it was awesome!

Very dated. Breakfast offering was very modest. Staff was a bit stubborn. We were comfortable but not what we expected for the cost.

We noticed beds have a tendency to be on the hard side there. Not a big deal with the previous hotels, but this one was pretty hard and so were the pillows. The whole room was a little dark too.

The hotel was not fancy, but it was awesome for seeing all of the same animals and birds we saw in Manuel Antonio. For that reason I would highly recommend it.
