Loud hotel but close to the beach. Breakfast not included and staff late to open it.

Beds were hard; front desk changed mattress after first night. Loacted on the beach...great. Restaurant was a disappointment. Took them over 30 minutes to prepare breakfast...twice. We had to order from menu, not buffet

I thought the hotel itself was fine. I did not feel the desk staff was particularly friendly, but I may have gotten on their bad side. Their attitude seemed to be guilty before charged as I had to sign a blank credit card slip just to have use of the safe (which was a ridiculous piece of work--- like an old pirate's booty box with a padlock that wouldn't stop anyone from prying it open) a beach towel and room key. We never had any washcloths, only 2 bath towels each. I think she told me people took them all the time so they stopped providing them.. I may have understood wrong. All the times we left and returned I felt actually greeted or acknowledged twice probably. It was so different than our staffing experiences anywhere else.
