Overview

Imagine finding a place where your very nature blends into the vast Pacific landscape unbounded by time or space. Kasiiya’s carefully choreographed architecture leaves no imprint yet effortlessly surrounds you in ultimate luxury. Individual wood, glass, and canvas tented suites tether you only to what is real, the beauty of Nature reflecting as far as the eye can see. Stunning walkways and furniture designed solely from raw materials such as wicker, fabric, renewable wood, and bamboo set the stage for your comfort from the silkiest bedsheets to a furnished outdoor living area complete with natural indoor/outdoor showers. Solar energy fuels all the electricity including your suite’s air conditioning. Natural springs and rain provide all the water used. Composting toilets hardly seem any different from modern plumbing. An evolution in what is possible, and you find yourself very much a part of the solution.

The Gulf of Papagayo found along a remote expanse of Costa Rica’s northwesternmost coastline, features a panorama of pristine crescent beaches, some only reachable by boat. It seems only fitting that after a swarm of all-inclusive luxury hotels began to fill in the shoreline, that Kasiiya’s visionary protection of its 123 secluded acres overlooking two unspoiled beaches be preserved for future generations. With careful planning, Kasiiya was built to leave no permanent construction footprints or disruption of habitats. The airy wood framed suites surrounded by glass and topped by canvas allow you to safely experience the essence of the natural world without getting the bug bites.

Kasiiya wants you to be touched by the universal. A tri-level outdoor fitness platform provides space for guided meditation, yoga asanas, and special movement exercises inspired by the local fauna. Yamuna, the resident healer, offers massages, sound healing, reiki, natural body treatments and chakra alignment in the onsite spa pavilion located between two waterfalls. You’ll also find a tree to climb. Wooden walkways lead you easily through the jungle to your suite and down to the beach. A solar powered electric golf cart will provide transportation throughout the property. Beach activities include snorkeling, kayaking, and paddleboarding. Fishing and scuba tours can be arranged as well as canopy ziplining.

Meals are prepared from locally sourced fresh produce and seafood. The Argentinian chef creates a new menu every day. All of his specialty dishes are a fusion of available organic ingredients such as a shrimp casada plus other favorites like avocado toast or fish tacos. A communal dinner is served at sunset allowing guests to come together to celebrate the spectacular sky at the end of day.

Two of the five individual tented suites are located on the hilltop overlooking the beaches below, while three other suites are located along the beach itself. Plans are in place to add additional tent suites in the near future. All of the suites include a an extended private deck with outdoor living room furniture, indoor air conditioning, fan, a separate dining area, coffee maker, daily replenished cooler, a desk, library, wifi, king size bed, and two private baths, one indoor and one outdoor with natural toiletries. One of the suites has an antique copper soaking tub on its private deck.

Kasiiya defies description, it’s an experience like no other. It provides the elegance of luxury in the simplicity of form. Come see for yourself, it could easily be a life changing inspiration!
