This is a wonderful hotel with a distinct family business feel to it. It's lovingly laid out and decorated with beautiful plants and a lot of attention to detail. Owner and staff are very personable and friendly and made us feel very welcome. Roberto (the owner) is a hobby chef and he creates the most wonderful dinners for his guests (but only if he feels like it - so watch out for the wooden sign being put up in the morning!). The hotel is in a perfect location, 2 min from the beach - which is great as you can leave all your valuables etc. behind. We did the dolphin watching tour, turtle observation and surfing lessons as activities - which were all great! We stayed only three nights as I'm not normally a beach person, but I could easily have stayed longer ...

We had a great stay in villas kalima, for the price breakfast could have been included.

Very modest rooms. Diego and Roberto were wonderful! Roberto fixed us a meal that will never be forgotten! Very, very special experience at Villas Kalimba!
