Costa Rica Agriculture |
The Costa Rica export economy is driven by agriculture. Primary exports include bananas, coffee, various melons, ornamental plants, pineapples, & sugar. Cattle farming is considered to be an honorable business in Costa Rica. In many locations, fincas (farms) line the hillsides with cows and horses. The Costa Rica agriculture market is not limited to land though, as Tilapia (a delicious species of freshwater fish) farming is proving to be a lucrative market as well.
