Playa Carate, Costa Rica (Carate Beach) is located below Puerto Jimenez on the southern Osa Peninsula in the Province of Puntarenas. This small, tranquil, beachside village is quickly gaining popularity for it's beautiful white sand beaches that are lined with coconut bearing palm trees.
Playa Carate weather is fairly predictable. Weather is best from December through April, during the dry season months. The months of May through November generally experience higher rainfall totals, with the highest amounts received between August through September.
