Tour Description:
Carara National Park tour. A bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on an easy hike through the world famous Carara National Park. Along the way, your guide will point out the abundant wildlife, flora and fauna. This park is home to a wide variety of endangered species, which makes it an important and vital eco system. Carara is a favorite with bird watchers. About 150 scarlet macaws nest and feed throughout the reserve and can usually be seen around dusk flying west down the Rio Tarcoles towards the coastal mangroves where they roost for the night. This 4 hour tour includes transportation, guide, and park entrance fee.What To Bring:
Insect repellent, binoculars, camera, sturdy shoes, sun block, and rain gear.
