Orosi Valley and Lankaster Gardens

Tour Description:

Orosi Valley and Lankaster Gardens. We travel to the city of Cartago, former capital of Costa Rica until 1823, for a visit to the historic Basilica of Virgen de los Angeles. We will stop at Lankester Gardens to view the world-class collection of orchids, bromeliads, heliconias, and countless species of other plants. We then continue to the Valley of Orosi to visit one of the few remaining colonial churches, and have lunch at a local restaurant. We will also observe La Casa Del Sonador, an example of Costa Rican primitive art. This 5 hour tour includes transportation, bilingual guide, entrance to Lankester Gardens, and lunch.
