Day 1

Welcome to Costa Rica! Upon arrival to Liberia International Airport (contact us for details if arriving at other airport), you will receive a VIP Airport Greeting by a Pacific Trade Winds representative. Transportation will be provided to the Arenal Volcano area which is not only one of the most beautiful destinations in Central America, but also the Adventure Capital.

During your visit to the Arenal Volcano area, you will stay at Arenal Springs Resort. Arenal Springs Resort is an eco-resort with thermal hot springs surrounded by tropical gardens located in the shadow of the imposing Arenal Volcano in the resort area outside of La Fortuna. Hotel amenities include thermal hot springs, swimming pools, restaurant, bar, internet access, spa, yoga platform and conference room.

While at Arenal Springs Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Junior Suite. Junior Suites feature air-conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, mini bar stocked with complimentary beverages for two people, telephone, in-room safe, hair dryer, and a terrace area with a view of Arenal Volcano.

Day 2

Today you will have your choice of one of the following tour options:

A) The Hanging Bridges offer an amazing glimpse into the canopy of the rainforest! The hike includes terrestrial trails and bridges through the tree tops allowing you to view the forest from all perspectives. This fun filled half day tour includes guides, transportation and entrance to the private reserve.

B) The Canopy Zipline is a MUST DO for anybody adventurous that visits Costa Rica! This thrilling high speed, high flying course offers 15 zips as you soar from platform to platform at the base of Arenal Volcano and then top it off with a Tarzan Swing! This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation and guide.

Day 3

Today you will have your choice of one of the following tour options:

A) The Cano Negro Riverboat Safari is an amazing experience and opportunity to see numerous species of wildlife. The refuge is home to one of the largest populations of caimans, which can be observed at nearly every turn! It’s not only reptiles though as the area is also home to both spider monkeys and congo monkeys which can be heard howling from miles away. Birdwatchers will delight as hundreds of species either live here or migrate through including toucans, roseate spoonbills and trogons. This fun filled safari includes transportation, bilingual naturalist guide, and lunch.

B) Whitewater rafting is a thrilling adventure and Costa Rica is home to some of the best rivers and guides in the world! The day starts off with a brief safety lesson and you are then on your way as your guide navigates you through class II and III rapids on the Rio Balsa. This is a great river for first timers and those that want the thrills of rafting without going overboard - yes the pun was intended. No experience necessary on this half day adventure which includes transportation, safety kayaker, guides, lunch, and equipment.

Day 4

Transportation will be provided to the Papagayo-Hermosa area which is home to beautiful palm studded beaches.

During your visit to the Papagayo-Hermosa area, you will stay at Hilton Papagayo Resort and Spa. The Hilton Papagayo Resort and Spa is an eco-friendly all-inclusive tropical retreat located in a secluded, private bay on the Pacific Ocean at the Gulf of Papagayo. The resort is well known for excellent customer service. Resort amenities include swimming pool, restaurants, bars, spa, conference room, tennis courts, trails, volleyball courts, and internet.

While at Hilton Papagayo Resort and Spa you will enjoy a Tropical Garden Bungalow Room. Tropical Garden Bungalows feature air-conditioning, dark, teak-wood furniture, including comfortable chairs, activity table, flat-screen LCD TV, telephone, clock radio with MP3 connection, in-room safe, mini refrigerator, iron, hair dryer, and a private balcony with tropical views.

Day 5

The warm waters surrounding Costa Rica are teaming with tropical fish! Create memories for a lifetime as you and your guide swim above rock or coral formations along the Guanacaste coastline and observe the wondrous marine life below. This fun filled half day adventure includes transportation, bilingual certified guide, and equipment.

Upgrade to scuba diving for an additional $50 per person.

Day 6

Beach day on the Gulf of Papagayo. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tropical sun on the palm studded beaches of the Pacific coast.

Day 7

Final Day — All good things must come to an end, though memories last a lifetime. Transportation will be provided back to Liberia International Airport scheduled to arrive three hours prior to your departure flight.
