Costa Rica November Weather:
The Temporales del Pacifico are starting to lessen in the Osa Peninsula area. Most days will still have significant rain, but the breaks are more frequent. The rest of the Pacific coastal area is still in the wet season with rain on most days, but most days start with a good deal of sunshine and rains develop in the afternoon or evening hours. Temperatures range is from 80 - 90 degrees. The San Jose and Central Valley have much the same pattern as the Pacific coast with temperatures about 10 degrees less, and higher elevations about 20 degrees less.
The southern Caribbean area is not as dry as it was in September and October, but still has less rain than the Pacific coast and Central valley. Expect some rain on most days, but still plenty of sunshine to enjoy the beautiful beaches! The northern Caribbean is coast region is wetter than the southern Caribbean coastal region with much the same weather pattern as the northern Pacific coastal region.
Temperatures average in the 80’s for the Caribbean coastal area in November.

November starts the busier season and higher rates go into effect in November. It is a good idea to book atleast several months ahead to assure getting a good hotel at a good price.

Although still considered the green season, many places start implementing high season prices in November (especially the 2nd half of the month).
