Hotel overall was fine, room was good size and clean. Many of the staff didn't understand English well so we had some issues when communicating. The breakfast was buffet style however they didn't ask us to wash or sanitize our hands when entering and there should have been someone giving out the food as opposed to guests all touching the utensils and lid covers, etc... We ate at the rooftop restaurant and they messed up our order 2 times and it took over 2 1/2 hours to get our dinner and dessert. We ended up sitting around waiting a lot for our food and drinks. Seemed short staff as it looked like there was only 1 or 2 waiters trying to serve everyone.

The restaurant in the hotel was particularily good. The breakfast on the other hand was just average.

All hotels were beautiful, great locations, safe, CLEAN, and staff was extremely friendly and helpful

The hotel and staff were fine but not sure if it was situated in the nicer part of San Jose. At night it felt less safe than during the day.

Loved the decor and the staff. Very friendly and helpful. The room did need chairs, as there were none and it was difficult to place my luggage. The shower was lukewarm and I couldn't bathe. There is no night light in the bathroom, so when I closed the door in the middle of the night and tried to see the toilet it was completely black and I felt blind. The restaurant food was fabulous and the bartender excellent. They were a bit busy and it took some time to get attention when I wanted to order. However, when I asked to move us to a location my friend thought was unavailable, they sweetly complied and wouldn't let me help move the utensils. If I weren't feeling poorly I'd have loved to stay up at night with the bartender.

One room was better than the other, which windows on to the airconditioning system. Beds were comfortable and shower was good.

Hotel offers hot tea but there is never any hot water in the tea pot. At breakfast the omelette chef was only there part of the time.
