We did not have a chance to enjoy the grounds or the pool or the breakfast while we were here. The rooms were big but dated compared to our stay at Hotel Cariblue. The shower and other amenities seemed very old. The king bed was comfortable and luxurious. The lack of WiFi in the rooms was a bit inconvenient.
The receptionist and other staff seemed very nice, her English was very good.

The lodge was quaint and intriguing. The rooms did not have air conditioning and it got warm when we did not have power. The proximity to the rainforest and the availability of tours and multiple dining options were great.
