The riverside location is wonderful and the birdlife spectacular. The only downside is that the entrance is on a very busy main road.

For rustic lodge, very nice overall. It was hot in room in spite of ceiling fans, as expected in that humid season

Too much truck noise for an ecolodge. I would try to find something different next time. But great place for birding overall.

We loved this place, the access to the rainforest and area around the lodge was good. We liked the way meals were organised and thought this was great value. The viewing platform by the restaurant offers a huge variety of wildlife and we saw toucans, a coati and raccoons close up from there. It is a fabulous place

We loved this private place. Lovely grounds, great tours, excellent bird and animal watching. Loved the wood-fired pizza. Lovely breakfast included. We booked the cacao tour from the hotel and it was outstanding!!!!

Also, very typical...would go back tomorrow no problem

Somewhat rustic, the stay was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly and helpful. I took an excellent bird hike before we left.

Was surprised by the open screened window lattices. But then we really didn't know what to expect at an 'ecolodge' After we got used to it, it was a very interesting and different experience, much different than the impersonal tourist hotels.
The humidity caused some comfort problem in that the sheets were clammy when you went to bed.
