If I could give the staff a 25, I would do it. They were absolutely incredible. The hotel itself was gorgeous, as were the grounds. Overall, it was amazing. My only challenge here was that I had stressed how important it was to stay somewhere that we could easily access Bijagua. We were told by the hotel staff that there was no way they could get us into town, unless we took a $70 (each way) taxi ride. Thus, we never did get to show our kids Bijuagua. The onsite restaurant was great, however incredibly expensive. Fine for a night, but defniitely wasn't expecting to drop $300 on dinner two nights in a row. Without any other options due to a lack of transportation, it was a bit challenging from a financial perspective. That said, we would certainly stay here again...just with more realistic expectations (and probably without our kids).

BEAUTIFUL hotel. It was our favourite one. This hotel kindly let us join a night hike for free, since our previous night hike (in a different location) was rained out. The rooms were luxuirous and spacious. the restaurant was amazing. The access to the river was awesome and we had a very fun time in the river! The hotel also helped us get a taxi to the close by park so we could hike to see the waterfall.
