Discover the real Costa Rica in this full day, culturally rich combination tour exploring the small village of Santa Juana, fishing for tilapia, and swinging through the jungle!

Upon arrival you will enjoy coffee and juice with your professional bilingual guide before going on a ten minute hike into the canopy to zip into your morning. Aerodynamic safety cables, strategically aligned, automatically reduce your speed as you gently arrive at one of the ten platforms, so no need for hand braking. Here you can let go of your inner child in the Tarzan swing as well as rappel through the jungle. Surrounded by rain forest flora and fauna, you’ll hear the cacophony of over 150 species of exotic birds, monkeys, and other wild forest animals.
After an hour of zip lining you will journey to the beautiful rustic pueblo of Santa Juana and enjoy breakfast before stepping back in time exploring a local sugar cane farm to see how sugar is produced. Massive oxen turn the mill, grinding the cane into syrup which then is processed into sugar.
Next you will be taken to a sparkling waterfall where you may spend up to an hour swimming and enjoying the view. (You’ll have an opportunity to change in and out of your swim suit at the local restaurant.)
After visiting the waterfalls, you can try your hand fishing for Tilapia, a part of the traditional Costa Rican diet.
Last but not least you will be treated to a typical Casado which is the main midday meal including: beans, rice, tortillas, chicken, fish or fried cheese, salad, salsa and plantains.
