Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve - Quality

I think this tour would be more interesting if we were interested in birds, but we aren't. :)

This is not a fault of the guide or the service, but Monteverde is becoming very crowded. This diminishes the experience for me.

Our guide was super. We were able to see the quetzal and a viper plus learn so much about the cloud forest. Very interesting place. And the hummingbirds at the end were spectacular. Our driver was very nice.

Very knowledgeable guide who pointed out everything from insects to birds to monkeys. We even saw a couple of quetzals!

Excellent, knowledgeable guide and great photographer. See saw beautiful birds. This tour exceeded my expectations. Negatives: our driver did not arrive when scheduled and we were waiting for him for a long time. It was very early in the morning. Mike had to call to get it sorted out.

Well it really rained that day, so no pictures taken, but the guide was super and the information was fresh and informative.

We loved the guide! He was amazing and so nice. We saw more than we thought was possible and got great photos. We opted to stay and get our own ride home because we wanted to see more of the park. Well worth it!

Enjoyable tour with a very knowledgeable guide

Loved the Cloud Forest. We were a little disappointed not to see much wildlife but learned immensely about plants/the ecosystem/rainforest survival from our extremely knowledgeable guide Marvin.

Truly magical experience being in the cloud forest, listening to the beautiful bird colors and sounds, seeing the clouds roll through between trees - the experience was nothing short of magical. The guide did such a great job of providing intellectual information and doing his best to find animals for us, including a sloth. It was really nice to have a guide who was so passionate about the things he was talking about.

First class guide who went above and beyond to make this an exceptional experience. Without the knowledge and experience of our guide, a trip to the cloud forest would have been just a walk in the forest. But our guide showed us many different types of wildlife and explained the roles of the various plants in great detail. It was a great day.

Lots to see on the tour and the guides do a great job of finding unique things to show you. Well worth the price to get the guide i could not imagine doing this on my own. The cafe by the humming birds is very good for a snack too.

This tour was an advanced walking tour and was a challenging pace and terraine. The terraine was so challenging that we felt we looked at our feet the whole time and rarely had time to enjoy the surroundings. Not much to see at all, very long. It was too similar to the Hanging bridges tour.
