Arenal Volcano and Tabacon Hot Springs

The Arenal Volcano Natural History and Tabacon Hot Springs tour is a great way to learn about the volcano and observe wildlife before relaxing in thermal hot springs! After driving to La Fortuna, the tour starts in the afternoon at Arenal, where you will go on an easy hike through the rainforest at the base of the volcano. With a little luck, your bilingual naturalist guide will point out various species of wildlife such as monkeys, toucans, parrots and others. The trail ends at a mirador with excellent views to the volcano. Following the hike you will be brought to Tabacon Hot Springs to relax and bathe in hot spring pools at various temperatures which are surrounded by tropical gardens. This fun filled half day, evening excursion includes guide, transportation, entrance to the private reserve, hot springs admission, and lunch.
