Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica is actually a suburb of the port town Quepos. This area is considered to be both family friendly and safe. Manuel Antonio is known for it's beautiful white sand, palm studded beaches and for Manuel Antonio National Park. This is Costa Rica's smallest national park, but one of the largest in terms of biodiversity.
Manuel Antonio is located on the Central Pacific coast in the Province of Puntarenas. The weather in Manuel Antonio is fairly predictable. Weather is best from December through April, during the dry season months. The months of May through November generally experience higher rainfall totals, with the highest amounts received between August through September.
