Beautiful scenery and great room.

Since we had more time at Hotel Heliconia we have more feedback. Mostly we would have liked more seating in the room (there was 1 chair). With 4 people in the room, trying to get dressed or relax it is difficult with 1 chair. We also thought it would be nice to have some seating available on the grounds of the hotel. There were 2 chairs outside our room, but maybe seating in the garden would be nice. Since we had more free time during this stay we would have loved to have a pool, but understand that in that climate maybe it would not be used as often by other guests?

Lovely place but part of the roof had blown off from the high winds. We were awakened by the flapping of the loose roof -- took a while to fix. Between that noise and power outages, it was dramatic but not easy. Walking path near hotel really terrific and should be a highlight for other visitors.
