Koora Monteverde Boutique Hotel is Monteverde's newest luxurious eco-friendly lodge. Located next to the Aguti Reserve and within a five-minute drive to the small Monteverde center, the small lodge combines a perfectly natural cloud forest experience with near-town convenience. Lodge amenities include a private reserve and trails, a restaurant and bar, tropical gardens, air conditioning, heated pools, and free WiFi access in designated areas.

Monteverde is the ideal location to explore the cloud forest and for highland birdwatching. Home to rare and exotic species such as the Resplendent Quetzal, Emerald Toucanette, Bellbirds, and many other species, Monteverde is a birdwatcher's dream destination! It is also home to some of the best canopy tours in the world, Adventurers will love the thrill of the canopy zipline, while those seeking a slower pace can hike through the treetops on one of the area's amazing hanging bridges tours. Of course, you can also spend quality time walking along the Aguiti Reserve's four kilometers of self-guided trails.

The bar and restaurant are conveniently located near the front desk. The views are spectacular and the food is tasty! There are two main options for breakfast; an American-style breakfast, or gallo pinto, a traditional Costa Rican breakfast. The restaurant, serving a fusion of perfectly balanced foods, re-opens for lunch at noon, and again at 6:00 pm for dinner. The bar offers a selection of signature cocktails, cervezas, and a magical place to take in the sunset!

Koora Monteverde Boutique Hotel offers a total of 26 rooms, including 10 suites, 6 bungalows, and 10 forest rooms set on a forested hillside. Suites are located at the main building and Bungalows are distributed along the property. The Family Suite is the largest, with a capacity of 6 guests. This room has two private bedrooms and two bathrooms, a mezzanine, a living room, a minibar, and amazing views. Junior Suites are a little smaller and come equipped with a mezzanine, one and a half bathrooms, mini bar, and provide beautiful views. The Lodge has 6 private bungalow-style rooms, 4 of which are two stories and 2 of which are one-story. The bungalow rooms are set in the forest, offering ample space, amazing views, and a magical cloud forest experience. There is one Double Deluxe Bungalow with views of the Gulf of Nicoya. This room is ideal for honeymooners or a romantic stay - the views are gorgeous!
