The location was great. The pool and restaurant were also great. The showers and the room were sub par.

There were not 24hr staff so when our ride for tour was over 15mins late we had no one to ask to call.
The room door had a gap big enough for bugs to fit through above the door but besides this was clean & comfortable.

Loved the fact that this hotel was so close to everything and also had a small fridge. Pool and grounds were beautiful.

The room was much too small, with two double beds, there was no room to move around. With four people, this was unpractical.

This was a last minute change to our itinerary. The pool and location in terms of proximity to the beach was really nice. The breakfast at the main hotel was also very impressive! However, it pales in comparison to Plaza Yara... The rooms were really small and because we were four in it, I am really glad we only stayed one night. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool lunch menu at the main hotel was well worth it. A lot of food for the price.

Beautiful Hotel. I loved having a pool at Cabinas and being able to use Hotel Espadilla's amenities as well. The Hotel's restaurant is wonderful and very decently priced. So close to the beach! Downside is not that close to many restaurants.

so great, got to see all monkeys and iguanas right from the pool. hotel was so conveniently located, restaurant was gorgeous food was amazing people were wonderful. the owner was amazing! he gave us a personal tour of his family property which was a jungle hike. he is so knowledgeable, and passionate about his grounds, and told us great stories about his family history. magical!

This hotel was ok, but compared to the one in La Fortuna, it was just average. We probably paid for what we got. It was a nice location near the beach, the national park, and the restaurants. The people were friendly and helpful. I only gave it a rating of a 9 because it wasn't as nice as the one in La Fortuna. They were accommodating to our leaving at 3:00 a.m. for our trip back to San Jose.

This hotel was right in the heart of the city. With so much to do around it was a perfect location! The rooms are just for sleeping but they were kept very clean.

I forgot his name, the day clerk was more than accommadating. He searched for our lost I-pad for hours but we later found it hidden in the room safe. Pass our thanks on to him.

The grounds and pool are beautiful and the location is perfect. Unfortunately, this hotel is in a noisy location. There was no hot water or hair dryer.
