Bungalow A-15, also known as the "Palm Tree Casita", amenities include: terrace, covered outside dining area, kitchenette, 2 bedroom with bathrooms. Bedding options include 1 king and 3 doubles.
Bungalow A-14 amenities include: terrace with gas BBQ, ocean view, air conditioning, kitchen, living/dining area, cable TV, 2 bedrooms with bathrooms and one small child bedroom. Bedding options include 2 doubles and one single.

Due to the spacious grounds, there are areas for adults only as well as areas ideal for families. In addition, many of the rooms are built up on the hillside while others are across the road on the ocean side. When planning for a group, if you’d like to stay close together, it is important to note the location of the rooms you book.
Casa Quinta, also called A-9, plus Bungalows A-11 and A-13 are near each other, near a pool and near the wedding pavilion lookout. All three are connected to the hotel reception by a short footpath. These units are separate from Bungalows A-14 and A-15.
Bungalows A-14 and A-15 (also known as the Palm Tree Casita) are located next to each other on the hillside, separate from the other A Bungalows and from the nearest swimming pool. These two units are only a short distance from popular restaurants and a shopping area.
Building B hosts Studio and Studio Plus Apartments perfectly sized for families with large balconies has family friendly pool and is centrally located.
Efficiencies are found in different areas. Some are located in the central Area C near the Wedding Pavilion while others are tucked a little further away. All have access to pools elsewhere on the property.
Costa Verde ll features Studio and Studio Plus Apartments as well as the Penthouse. It is an adult only area complete with swimming pool and stunning ocean and National Park views. Costa Verde ll apartments are located between Bungalows A and Bungalows E.
The exciting 727 Fuselage Home is built into a steep hillside and is privately located in the jungle just outside of area C. It is about the same walking distance from three pools on the property.
Bungalows E-5 and E-6 are located below the hotel reception area. E-6 is on the ocean side and both E-5 and E-6 are at a 300 feet elevation above the beach and within 200 feet of Manuel Antonio Beach.

Front desk staff and driver Wil were nice. Room view was nice. Room was dusty and curtains probably need to be washed; my husband had horrible allergies that led to an asthma attack due to the dust. More penny pinching because they don’t offer extra towels and don’t allow AC to be on when we are gone. Nice sized rooms. Nice to have kitchenette. A little unfortunate to not have breakfast included.

Hotel Costa Verde was the perfect ending to a perfect trip. The room was gorgeous and had so much character. We also had an amazing view of the ocean! The food at the restaurants was fantastic (especially Anaconda!) The adult only pool had some of the most beautiful views of our entire trip and the pool bar was pretty great also! Hotel Costa Verde was also in a really great location. It was about a 10-15 minute walk to the beach and about a 20-25 minute walk to Manuel Antonio National Park. I would definitely return!

Love this hotel overlooking the Pacific. We stayed in Costa Verde II, adults only area..the bar is nice there, and the pool water is great. The housekeeping staff is phenomonal. They did our dishes for us..Front desk service just so so-not overly friendly or welcoming. close to many restaurants..Would stay here again.

Our accommodation was good as was the adult pool and bar area but it was a long walk in the heat back from the beach. I liked the pool in front of our building.

The hotel location was amazing. The quirks were fun and the animals on the location were brilliant. It was a highlight of this part of the trip.

The room view and location was great. The kitchen was full of little ants and I had to throw the bread and pastries that I bought for us. I notified the front desk and I think that they treated but it was too late.
The shower pressure was very light making it impossible to shower, again I notified the stuff and they sent maintenance to fix it, it was a little better.
Unfortunately after the cleaned the room they left us one shampoo and one conditioner for four people and when we called for more they just gave us one more. Very cheap on that end. Some of the staff at the front desk was not really friendly.

It might have been pure luck, but I think we had the best room in the whole complex. It was in the family section on the top floor facing north and was the closest room to the beach of I think three rooms. This gave us a perfect vantage point for early morning bird watching.

Loved our bungalow, it was well set up for my mom. We had 3 species of monkeys swinging from our patio every day plus, many other animals. My second time here, I love this place!

The bungalow was amazing, the location was amazing. If I had known this was so close to "town" I would have chosen a different hotel. I didn't like being that close to the party scene with my young kids.

Chairs not too comfy for eating, but good for relaxing. We stayed in B-1, it was quiet and pleasant. Wildlife in the property: iguanas, monkeys, toucans, other birds.

The hotel and grounds were top notch. The staff was very friendly and excellent. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a view partially of the mountains and partially of the ocean very nice. There are multiple restaurants either on hotel grounds are just down the road that are owned by the hotel. All had excellent food. The only thing that was disappointing is that kids under 18 are not allowed in the only pool that serves food and drink. The two other pools are nice, but there is nothing there. The recommendation is for the hotel to make food and drink available at those locations. We were able to see some monkeys and parrots and other birds and a sloth just outside of our hotel room from our balcony. We also were able to see humpback whales in the ocean from our hotel room. All of that was excellent. Another slight drawback, although not significant at all is that it is a 10 or 15 minute walk down the mountainside to the beach. However, there is a very inexpensive and very regular bus shuttle that goes from the hotel to the town. People can catch that essentially anytime they want so they walk down the mountain is not much of a problem at all. I also recommend this hotel to anyone. Finally just down the street is a unique attraction it is a zip line that goes up and down like a roller coaster very fun and unique. A bit expensive because it cost eight dollars per person per ride and the ride last only two minutes. However, I think worth it. Note that for adults and larger people it does jerk you around a little bit so if you have a bad back I would definitely not do it, but if you are OK physically than I do recommend it.

The location with the million dollar views was fabulous. The pool and sun deck was amazing views. Our room had a very nice location with a partial view of the ocean and jungle. The room was very large and comfortable. The nightly shuttle picked us up from the different restaurants and dropped us off near to our rooms which was a good walk from the front desk. The active monkeys were playful near our balcony. The breakfast was delicious and the restaurant staff were very friendly. The front desk staff needs a little more reminder on customer service and customer satisfaction.

We wished they had a jacuzzi! Those outdoors pools can get chilly when it's been cloudy all day. It would be wise to explain that the beaches in the park are WAY better than the public beaches. We found them quite dirty and rocky. The view from the hotel is AMAZING. That was the highlight of this place for us. Anaconda (their breakfast restaurant) is the best breakfast we had all trip.

Our room in Building B was directly above a very very busy and very very noisy road into Manual Antonio National Park. The noise seriously detracted from the outstanding view from our room. Make sure future guests are located in Building D which is much more quiet.

Was close to the beach but the had to walk down a busy highway. Good ocean view. Our room in section E looked dingy and dated. There was a long walk uphill to to the room where some of our group members were staying. So very difficult to see them. Definitely would not recommend section E.

We were disappointed with this property at first. The staff was not welcoming and we felt like we were bothering them more than being a guest to them. Our room wasn't ready so they told us to take a walk around the property. We had been traveling and just wanted to relax. Instead we "hiked" the property for 15 mins. We knew the property sat up on a hill from the beach but we didn't know and weren't told how spread out the property was and everywhere you go would be a hike. The staff offered rides to our room but every time we asked we felt like it was an imposition for them so we quit asking and suffered the hike to our room at the TOP of the hill multiple times a day. The gift shop was always closed by time we came back from our trip so we weren't able to buy souvenirs.

The hotel has enchanting views, but it is in need of some renovations specially the bathrooms. However, the service compensates for the lack of comfort. From the reception to the restaurants, the staff were courteous and pleasing to all our minor requests.

The hotel was beautiful. The onsite restaurant was only open for breakfast however. The power was out our first full day there and was out well into the evening too. It was a scheduled outage however so unavoidable. The beds were better than the first hotel, they provided a king which was nice but the mattress was anything but comfortable. The toilet had trouble flushing every time in our room. Other onsite bathrooms were fine though. The maid service was great. The laundry service was great. The view was wonderful, and the wildlife around was a real treat to see/hear. The restaurants were all great, Cantina BBQ was our favorite, then El Avion. Breakfast was very good each morning. The reception staff was very helpful whenever we needed a cab or any services or assistance. They were able to exchange colones and US dollars for us on the occasion we needed more cash.

Did not like the tacky kitchenette in my room, but the rest of the room was very nice with the pictures windows and balcony overlooking the beach. Loved both the adult swimming pool with its great view and the open air breakfast pavilion.

After being greeted with fruit drinks at our other hotels, we were a little disappointed not to receive one here but that was OK. Our room wasn't ready, so the receptionist suggested lunch down below at the restaurant. The wait staff here was not attentive. The view was beautiful - too bad the waiter practically ignored us. Our room was wonderful - and the view gorgeous. That evening we went to the restaurant across the street from reception on the hotel grounds. Again the service was lacking. We went to the airplane restaurant twice on the hotel grounds and had good service. The physical hotel was beautiful and met our expectations. We were surprised that the hotel restaurant service wasn't up to par to the other hotels we stayed at esp. since I think this hotel had a higher rating. I want to mention that we were pleased with the location of the hotel, as we were able to walk to and from the beach.

Very nice grounds, and great breakfasts at the Anaconda. Good location... we walked to the beach, and an easy bus ride to restaurants in the small town at the top of the hill. The room was not nearly as nice as the pictures we saw online. Curtains did not block outside lights at night, and the air conditioner made the room too cold, no matter how we set it. I would not choose to stay here again.
