Loved the location. The front desk workers and restaurant were super friendly. The cleaning staff not so much. The hotel could use some updating, but it was absolutely fine for its purpose.

The location of this hotel is awesome! Right at the entrance of Manual Antonio Park. The view from our room was amazing of the ocean and island offshore. We sat outside on the balcony and saw toucans and macaws and several other birds. We ate at the sushi restaurant which was very good - note they have an all-you-can-eat on Monday nights - we wish we had known that when we arrived! Their other restaurant is very good for lunch and dinner with a lot of variety between meals. The breakfast however is the same every day and got to be a little boring. The hotel staff at the front desk are exceptional. I can not say enough how helpful they are in every aspect of making our stay wonderful. A few things to note: hot tub is not very warm and jets don't work. The hot water in the rooms seems to runout in the evenings. The wifi is spotty. There is a shortcut to the beach, but we liked walking on the road better. Several restaurants are in walking distance.

Very helpful in reception. The breakfast started at 7 am, that was a problem every time we went early for an adventure.

Loved the proximity to the beach and Manuel Antonio Park. Shower water never heated up.

Great hotel, would rate staff a 12 if I could! Food in restaurants is reasonably priced and served with great presentation...wonderful food. All staff is happy, smiling, eager to assist! Fabulous!!

Staff service was exceptional. Christin was a joy at breakfast and at dinner. Fantastic location for the hotel in Manuel Antonio. Manuel Antonio itself is overload on the tourist town and I wouldn't go there again but this hotel is on the fringe of it and offers a quiet oasis to get away from the business.

Love the location of this hotel. It is older, not the amenities that we are use to. Again, the staff was wonderful, the people of Costa Rica are wonderful.
